I'm with you I think

from a personal & moral stand point (perhaps a product of my profession) I have some synmpathy for the argument that he seems to have been rehabilitated through prison, shaken off his bad past etc. I'm generally of the view that once time has been served and if the individual as atoned for it, then they deserve a second crack at life generally.

But it does not at all sit squarely with the image of this club for all the reasons you've listed.

I genuinely never thought I'd see the day when 'Norwich City FC' and 'rapist' would be seen in the same headline.

As good a player as he is, as cheap as he might be, this was a shockingly short sighted move from the club (if true, as it appears to be).
