Even if Hooper has turned down Celtics contract offer

I really can't see them selling him now (or selling for a price we'd be willing to pay).

From their perspective it would make much more sense to advice him to sit tight until the summer and then review the situation then. This would benefit all parties as a) Celtic get another half season out of him and might convince him to stay and b) if he bangs in a load of goals he'll have bigger teams than us fighting for his signature.

Celtic might lose out a bit on his transfer fee as his contract is running out but this is a gamble I think they'd take
