strangly my concerns are not around

his shooting, heading or attacking play, although I think he often makes the wrong runs, but more about how he links in with the passing game we play.
At times he looks like he couldn't trap a bag of cement and his passing is at best wayward. I'm sure it is a confidence thing but how do you "give" a player confidence?
