Curate's egg

Good flashes, bad flashes. I think a run in the team would do him good though. He CAN produce good midfield play. He did give the ball away quite a bit but then he's not got a lot of familiarity with the team's pattern of movement (insofar as we have a pattern). And he ran well and looked really really up for it.

If only Saff was fit, I'd much rather have JJ than Hughes. The idea of having JJ still finding his feet combined with Hughes not able to find his arse with both hands as our midfield fills me with total horror.

Why oh why is McVeigh so inconsistent? He was as good last night as he was s**t against QPR.
