the deep fired pie story is true.

I was at RAF Machrihanish, on the piss in Campbeltown. You know how it is when you`ve had a few beers. the mind turns to food.

Chippy wagon was outside the pub and being a good Northerner I had to have pie and chips.

Well when Rab C got the pie out of the hot cabinet then tossed it into the deep fat frier I couldn`t believe it.
Well as they say "when in Rome" , so I took a bite out of this thing and nearly chucked up on the spot.
