Hmmm let's look.

Relegated with Bornmouth in 89, left them in 91. After joining Wet Spam, he made many memorable signings there such as, Marco Boogers, Florin Raducioiu and Paulo Futre. Hmmmm let's look further; He was sacked by Terry Brown in 2001 after having had a new contract put on the table but spilling his guts to a couple of hacks. Promotion to the PL with Pompey in 2002, that's a plus point. Left them in 2004 after a number of arguments with owner and board. Joined Southampton after a couple of weeks. Much loyalty there, not. Nevertheless, his managerial skills came to the fore and Soton were relegated to the championship. Resigned in 2005 after failing to get them back to the PL and returned to Pompey. He kept them up and won the FA cup in 2008, another plus. Fot this he recieved the freedom of the city, but had already resigned to join Spurs 2 days before the ceremony. Nice one 'Arry. IMHO Spurs were his only real achievement, if you look at the money he spent then I'd suggest even USAC could have done nearly as well. I'm less than convinced by our Arry, might work, probably won't. QPR for the drop, Reading and either of Soton or Villa. Sorry O.G, that's how I see it.
