Foxy was injured pre season so was unfortunate to be behind the others fitness wise and hasn't done enough to force his way in (I.e spurs at home lost bale for the goal)

New contract was probably more an economical decision from McNally ensuring an asset can't walk away for nothing at the end of his contract
