The thing with Stoke is that defensively they are
very strong. They held their defensive line very high and were very well drilled. Difficult to score against and the key to their success.
Unfortuately this is coupled with a style of attacking football that is both predictable and dull. It is enough though to keep them in this league year after year.
They have sold their football soul in order to stay at the top table. I'm happy to know that we will never do the same.
