Massive piece of humble pie for Mr Waghorn....

Haven't noticed too many comments from the Waghorn appreciation society today!! His most recent piece on the Pinkun is written with thought, here's an exert:

"In between - despite all that was said and written in the angry aftermath of Sunday's no-show at Craven Cottage - you'd also have one of the best goal-scoring midfielders in the country in Damien Francis.

And as much as the simple figures suggest that his season waned alarmingly after his last goal in the 3-2 home win over West Brom in the first week of February - six goals in the 12 games that preceeded it, diddly squat goals in the dozen games that followed - you can overlook his contribution to the first-half of Norwich's season. Would City have been just one point shy of survival without Francis' pre-Baggies efforts? No, in fairness"

To be fair to the bloke he has at least been man enough to admit he was hasty in putting pen to paper.

I wonder if as many on here could do the same, very doubtful......but we'll see.

I made the point the other day that I'd reserve judgement on Francis until I heard something official from he or the club. Got a sneaky feeling the club may have had something to do with this latest piece...thoughts?
