Obviously since outdone by Lambert of course, but back then he gave us hope, until his last season I agree, even falling out of the prem wasn't the end of the world, I think we could've made it back again eventually, without the need for 3 untried and untested clowns putting us it freefall
Thankfully everything worked out for the best now though, and Hughton is working to stabilise us again but on a much higher level than Worthy was able to.
Lambert got us back where we deserve to be, now for Hughton to keep us there over the long term, with or without the odd slip into the Champs if necessary
