i used to...

buiy expensive suits, then wearing them for work they get f**ked pretty quickly and not many expensive suits are as roust as cheaper ones with man made fibre mix...

Now I use 3 cheaper suits (?100 each) BUT always try to buy an extra pair of trousers with each to keep for smarter occasions/meetings.... then I have 2 more expensive ones for weddings, funerals, barmitzvers etc...
