It is for work but not in that way. I use mine as a notepad, task manager etc. Basically a

replacement for a notebook (as in paper one, not laptop). Also great for storing and reading PDF documentation etc and having your email on the go (if your company allows it on the Exchange server over a VPN as mine does).

But it's not meant to be a replacement for your main work computer.
