That's may be from the case at the start of games

But West Ham were there for the taking. We should have thrown Wes on and gone all out to win the game. Even a blind man could see that West Ham were simply lumping long balls up to a lone striker and were quite happy to take a point. We should have switched to the diamond with Wes behind the front two and we would still have had 4 defenders to handle their lone target man.

It just shows how limited Hughton if he is so ridged in his thinking re. Formation that we can't see how a game is going and change tactics to go for the jugular. Wins keep you in this league not draws.
