Defeatist attitude

Having read all the posts this morning from the keep the faith brigade who all trot out the same " it was Chelsea the champions of Europe what do you expect our season will be defined against QpR Reading etc" line makes we wonder why we even bother turning up for these type of games. With that approach we might as well send the reserve or youth team to any game against a so called bigger team or not even bother to turn up at all. Surely with your logic we should simply play the 8 or 10 games against the teams who you lot think we can actually win.
Is a complete joke of an attitude. I'm afraid in my eyes Hughton has the same attitude as you lot that we are are not going to win these types of games and it has been reflected in how the players have played in such games this season. I hate to harp on about lambert but he did not have this mindset and hence why we went out and tried to win every game rather than this defeatist attitude of "we can't compete with these teams & it does not matter as they don't really count to our season".
