Mr Tombs. Your tomato problem is to do with neither neglect or ineptitude.
Last year my very uninspiring looking apple tree produced about 150 big fat red apples. This year it has two.
Our redcurrant and blackcurrant bushes produced so much fruit I was sick of the sight of it. This year they have both produced f**k all.
However, a rose bush that at best normally produces two or three average sized flowers is still blooming with about 30 of the biggest roses ever.
And some other thing we have that dies and looks like a twig every winter, then comes back to life again, has already started to regrow.
I don't know why I just spent the time typing that to be honest.
