My Dad went to his first Norwich game in the 50's and stood on a radio box (or possibly soap box) so he could see. My grandad took him & was a Norwich fan. I think Norwich supporters go along way back on my dad's side so that makes me pedigree.
Your Dad's childhood reminded me of mine. Wasn't a military kid, but, did exactly the same world hopping from 2 - 14 years old.
