Grandad was RAF so for my dad when he was young, one minute Singapore next minute germany next minute dubai etc. Strange life. know dad loves singapore. My grandad was very decorated as polish and RAF pilot yet thought british people were the best in the world and loved his bugalow at Gunton lane in Costessey. Lest we forget and all that. He hated war. Dad can still speak bits of poilsh (he speaks it ok). My nan is now 94 and having the time of her life. Makes you thing about what they went through. Miss my grandad but he would'nt ever give nan any money for herself only to buy food from the co-op. Makes him sound horrible, he wasnt. He just could never understand life after the war.
