from what i have seen this week

i would say that all the sports are very competitive

I was thinking along the lines that for example cycling and rowing have clearly defined targets and aim to be at peak form when those come round and everyone is pulling in the same direction

With three controlling bodies in the profesional game and 92 clubs all with their own agendas and the England senior side not very high up on anyones except the FA i will concede getting that lot going the same direction would be "hard" but if someone could then European championships and world cups could be within our grasp again
