Most bike shops nowadays are chains (no pun intended).
Like Pedal Revolution etc. They do have a reasonably big selection though. Apparently Chris Boardman's bikes at Halfords are very underrated and worth a look. A lot of big retailers are online like Wiggle, Evans, Chain Reaction and so on.
