I can't believe I'm seeking medical advice on roff, but here goes...

I've sprained my foot. I'm 90% sure it's nothing worse as I can still wriggle my toes, but it's swollen up and I can't put much weight on it. I've just come back from A&E as I was told the wait would be 4 hours and it didn't seem worth it just to be given a crutch. If I go to the walk-in centre tomorrow morning, (a) is the wait likely to be shorter, and (b) assuming it is a sprain and I need a crutch, will I have to go through the whole process at A&E again to get it, and can the walk-in centre provide one?
