as I said last night my only slight concern with the whole Holt situation

is whether he has re-signed because this is where he really wants to be or he has re-signed because the price tag we put on him scared off any possible buyers and he therefore felt he had little choice other than to sign a new deal. i'm sure whatever deal he's signed is still hugely improved and lucrative but possible still not quite what he might have got elsewhere.

So for me I'm delighted he's staying but will be reserving a little bit of judgment until i see what his attitude on the pitch is like. To be fair he doesn;t seem the type to mope around anyway and I think he will get on well with Hughton so I am hopeful we will see the same old Holty terrorising defenders again next season.
