Meddling politicians

They want to stop companies from tracking people accross their sites without asking for permission.

At the same time the government are trying to force ISPs to keep a permantent record of all your browsing history so they can spy on you.

I'd be a lot more worried about the government spying on our every move than a website setting a cookie.
