So basically he managed to avoid the Grant, Roeder and Gunn tenures as well as the poisoness atmosphere (not entirely, but at least the bitter end) that surrounded Worthy's departure. No league one football for him either!

Meanwhile Greeno played five seasons in the prem for West Ham, winning pots in 07/08 and managed to win a few caps for England (obviously that hasn't gone great for him, but it was an ambition he had).

Looking back, it's difficult to hold a grudge against any of our better players who left during 2005-2007, they obviously knew what was going on behind the scenes better than any of us at the time!
