that's the problem with long contracts
And too many of our players are on long contracts too. Nice and safe knowing the money is in the bank. If they were all on one year deals they'd have to be playing out of their skin to keep their jobs. How I'd love to come into the club and warn the players that if they don't perform in the next month their contract would be torn up. Sadly couldn't happen as we'd have to pay the tosser off.
