my problem is with the underlying philosophy rather than individual mistakes themselves. He doesn't understand the importance of midfield, hence so may non-specialists being stuck in there. Charlton established themselves in the Prem without ever haing a top-notch striker because they got the midfield right, Suprs are turning themselves raound this year by stacking up with midfielders. Worthy's is basically a long ball philosophy and doesn't place any emphasis on possession of the ball, hence we cannot control a game (even the promotion team couldn't). Unless that changes (and I think its deeply ingrained in his psyche) I'm afraid the basic mistakes will continue.
