He has proved his capabilities in the past

Nobody's perfect and, yes, some mistakes have been made. But not enough to cost him his job and not enough to suggest (to me at least) that he cannot turn it round.

There has been a big turnover of players in the last 18 months and much of it has been necessary. It was always going to be difficult to assemble an automatic promotion-winning squad all over again and I think there is a remarkable lack of patience amongst the supporters.

I don't believe he should be sacked, unless we are dragged in to a relegation battle after Christmas and there is a genuine danger we might go down.

Only then would change be a necessary evil. But until then, I hope we stick with a man who has given us success after a decade after despair.
