I think it's the same game, in the end

particularly given how international club football now is.

So if you have an international team completely full of players who don't score and don't create at club level, then it's not obvious to me why you'd expect them to do it at international level.

Of course, just because they *can*, doesn't mean they definitely *will* - see Holland. But if they can't, then they probably won't....
