Are Villa skint?

Lambert is being told to "wheel and deal" and Villa are refusing to pay compensation for Lambert. They must also be refusing to pay enough money for Culverhouse.

Lambert also has a reputation for signing cheaper players from the lower leagues so perhaps that is a main reason as to why they want him.
