so I can't see why they should stall on getting rid of a failing manager.
I doubt we would need to pay off his contact in full as a deal could probably be negotiated. The longer Worthington is failing as our manager the less chance he has of walking into another job when he does leave.
There is also the option of continuing to pay his wage after he's sacked.
