Toldo saved a load of penalties in that Italy 0-0 Holland, right?
He was awesome in that tournament.
Didn't Milosevic score quite a few for Yougoslavia in Euro 2000 as well? Great tournament, I had the excuse of a broken leg (happened on the opening day!) which allowed me to watch the whole tournament, the first week of which was in Kings Lynn Qe2 hospital!
Euro 96 was pretty much my first international tournament that I remember well (was 9 at the time), watched that thrashing of Holland in my mums kitchen on her little 14 inch tv that was stuck up high in the corner just below the ceiling, me and my mates were doing knee slides during the game, jumping around like utter loons. Great days.
Euro 2008 is the GOAT tournament for me, such an unbelieveably high consistency of quality throughout that tournament, even having no England matches was an unexpected bonus, it made for a refreshing change.
