Why it should be Steve Clarke
Probably the most respected coach in the country.
Has been 1st team coach or assistant manager to Ruud Gullit, Jos? Mourinho, Gianfranco Zola and Kenny Dalgliesh.
He has stated he is ready to become manager. There is obviously some risk choosing someone without experience as the man in charge but he couldn't have had any better grounding. He would have the respect of the players. He would be young and hungry. Some risk but exciting potential.
Chris Hughton is the obvious unity candidate and i wouldn't have a problem with it but he does lack the x factor to me. Most of the other viable contenders have little appeal.
