That's it. Lambert has been intimating this for months now. The finances cannot keep up wi

th on-field progress of the club. A club that finishes in 12th the previous season needs to spend very very big to progress things. We've got there so bloody quickly we're still hamstrung by the debt repayments.

Lambert wasn't prepared to wait the 1-2 seasons for our financial clout to catch up. And for a man as ruthlessly ambitious as him, that's fair enough in my opinion.

Just pissed off that it's Villa, and not a bigger club.
