Remember Gunny, at Reading, standing watching while all went to s**t in front of him?

And doing nowt 'cos he couldn't think of anything to do or, worse, didn't think anything needed doing? That's how Pearce strikes me. Shame, 'cos I liked him as a player. In fact I probably still do like him if I ever gave it any thought - but as a manager, no, I doubt it.
