leaves on a high and the truth is that whilst he has still been able to pop up with crucial goals in big games based on what i saw this season he had lost a yard of pace and maybe a bit of strength as well. Didn't seem to have quite the same destrictive presence as before.

He will no doubt head off for a lucrative 2 year deal in the middle east or the US to wind his career down now.
