If those things are true, it's obvious that you're a quality player and will come good for England. After all, if you weren't really good, you wouldn't be playing for a Big Club and no-one would have paid through the nose for you, because everyone knows that Big Clubs never ever ever make mistakes in the transfer market

Whereas if you've had a brilliant season, but you play for a small club and didn't cost very much, it's obvious that you're just lucky, it's a one off, you'll never cut it at international level, because if you really WERE good themn some Big Club would have bought you
