but I doubt you're particularly big payers, I'd have thought if he did go back to the Championship - which I don't think he will, he'd end up at a Birmingham / Bolton / QPR / Cardiff.

No disrespect to Brighton, but you're talking about hopes and ambitions for a small club. Players stepping down leagues will be interested in you once you're actually doing it - you're better off shopping for players coming up with a point to prove.
