holes in your jeans
jean skirts & jean jackets
jelly shoes
t-shirts 4 times too big
the Madonna look
the Cyndi Lauper look
friendship bracelets and pins
nylons and socks (together)
MC Hammer pants
moonboots, especially the silver ones
leg warmers (showing only your toes, even over your shoes)
rolling your jeans -- the tighter the better
your hair went straight up with only a little bit flipped back over the top
the alligator clips with feathers that used to be worn in your hair
wearing your collar up, even on polo shirts
going without socks (even in the winter)
