If this were 15 years ago and Shearer, Sheringham, Cole, Ferdinand, Fowler, Sutton etc were the competition you could understand why he would be down the pecking order.

But now? Defoe, Wellbeck, Sturridge, Campbell, Crouch, Zamora, Carroll etc etc.

It's actually a f**king joke. Germany would pick him.
