I feel I should defend Elliot Ward (my lord)

But I'm not sure why. Will be very interesting to see if he gets another deal. Lambert clearly rates him and he gives it his all every week even if he isn't quite up to it.

In his defence though he's missed a hell of a lot of football. I'd give him another couple of years.
