But he sold that to Lotus Hethel, who passed it on the team that was Renault Lotus last season. They have become Lotus F1, but AFAIK they are a completely separate business entity to Lotus Hethel. In fact, the guy who owns Lotus F1 was rumoured to be buying Lotus Hethel from the current owners, Proton, whose major shareholding has just been bought from the Malaysian government by another Malaysian company, who may well not be interested in keeping Lotus Hethel. Fernandes trousered the money for the Team Lotus name and bought Caterham Cars, and changed the name of his F1 outfit to Cateham F1.
