The last six monts have been unbelievably intense

For the players and the supporters alike.

It's understandable that some of the latter are feeling a little moody today - we're suffering a little bit of a comedown, a sense of anti-climax, knowing that we're safe. Doubtless the players feel like that a little bit too and it's hardly surprising.

Personally I don't trace this current run back to Leicester - I trace it back to Swansea. At that point, possibly our peak performance of the season, everyone knew we were safe and the foot came off the gas as soon as the final whistle went..

That being said, there was nothing much wrong with how we played yesterday, or against Man U. Only the Stoke and Wigan games were genuinely poor. Seven points from the next three games and everyone will be right chipper again.
