Stand by it

It wasn't about the result or expectations, it was the laboured defensive work, particularly the central midfield, which in that game just wasn't up to usual standards.

On quite a few occasions when Wigan played one-twos and generally passed and moved, we were totally exposed. Part of that was because they had far too much time on the ball and we weren't closing them down quickly enough.

The team has been brilliant all season but in that one match I just felt that they were a bit low key.
