One game in five he played well

Four in five he has been suspect. We beat Swansea because of our midfield pressing Swansea's full backs and keeper, they also created a lot of chances in that game, we were'nt exactly tight, luckily their finishing was poor that day, yet we still condeded two, the first goal in which Ward was very poor, thanks for the reminder, another for the list!

Also your excuses are sounding desperate, 'Swansea beat some good teams and Ward got an assist so he must be a great DEFENDER, yet we shouldn't dare dream of getting a result from the calibre of teams that Swansea beat (Man U), the same Swansea we've turned over twice (once without your Messiah, and far more comfortably), oh and we didn't try against Leicester, blah blah blah.

You have zero argument for Ward being an effective and valuable defensive addition to our side at this level. Fan boy syndrome.
