Karn tech help needed!!............ ..

Karn, see below. My friend has problems. Done the old power trick but all it appears to do is stay on the blue screen saying entering setup but doesn't do anything. Any ideas?....

got power, its on the blue hp bootup page. just whurring away no response from pressing buttons. keyboatd works. turns off when on off button pressed. then blue screen.
