Well I thought we were bloody good yesterday.

It was a proper gourmet feast of top-level football played by two teams on form. More goals would have been a pity as that would have made the keepers look bad, and they were both excellent. Defences were solid, midfield creative, strikers hard-working and inventive.

In the end the millionaires beat the heroes. In our league that's what happens. To beat them we needed a bit of good luck or human error - freak deflection, dodgy penalty etc - and we didn't get that. Nor did they.
