My old 3G ipod is now dead, after retro-fitting many a battery.....

And although got a perfectly good (for what "I" want to use it for) works HP netbook running on XP for work, thinking about either just going for an ipod touch and/or an ipad..... dont need a phone as got Nokia smartphone with work....

can i justify spending the dosh on an ipad 3 as well as a new ipod?!
