night life in the centre is largely for 20-40 year olds (in the old town)

decent bars/clubs, vibrant but a lot of restaurants in the centre for a more relaxed night.

There's no theme parks etc (have to head to Barca for the best one (Terra Mitica) but it (as LH says) the largeest sea life centre place in Europe (Oceanografica) as well as a very long well kept beach with bars all along it, museums etc.
