Previously, if he came up against a defender taller than 5' 8, he would invariably be muscled off the ball, and rather than laying it off, it would just ping off him.
Today, he has playing back to goal, trapping the ball, turning his man and getting a shot / pass off. His best game for NCFC today, imo. Better than the end of last season with all those goals.
