As for walking out - that doesn't really stack up.

He did brilliantly at Wycombe and then got a better job.

He walked out on us because of issues with Chase.

He stayed at Leicester so much longer than many would have because he enjoyed working for the club so much.

Nothing acrimonuous about his departure from Celtic, where he took them to multiple titles and a European final.

He walked out on Villa because Lerner reined back the budget and O'Neill felt he couldn't take a club (which he had pushed up the table) any further.
