I'd have taken History for sure

Found it dull as f**k at school. Now can't get enough of it.

I think everyone should do English, Maths, a language, a science and a humanity but I think that's mostly compulsory - though my kids don't have to do a language beyond year 8 which I think is wrong (they'll all "choose" to do one though). Beyond that I think it's more important kids do what interests them than what's "good for them" - more likely to stay engaged.
